The Fund’s initial priorities were determined by Environment Canada’s Canadian Wildlife Service staff at the Pacific Wildlife Research Centre. They created the Fund through their own charitable contributions. The focus on private land conservation efforts is based on analyses of habitat threats & rarity, & their collective experience and expertise.
