As part of the original agreement to establish the Fund, terms of reference were created to guide the fund’s grant-making. Applicants to Vancouver Foundation’s existing Environment funding programs will be considered and Vancouver Foundation will consult with staff from Environment Canada’s Canadian Wildlife Service to determine appropriate grantees. Should the Fund become sufficiently large, a formal committee will be established to review applications specifically to the Endangered Ecosystems Fund.
